The South Carolina Department of Public Safety said fallen Easley Police Department officer Matthew L. Hare was among those inducted into the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame on Wednesday.
Officer Matthew Hare was killed in the line of duty in 2023 while trying to save a woman who was threatening to harm herself on railroad tracks in Easley.
