Wow things have changed in Melbourne in the last few years since I lived there if people love the trains, now. When I was in there everyone bitched and complained about the trains every day.
I would have expected this meme to have a tram in the top panel and a train in the bottom. The bus wouldn’t have rated a mention.
We bitch about all the things all the time. But we secretly love our trains and trams.

The level crossing works have improved them but it’s still a choice between having someone shit on your seat and having someone shit in your mouth

Funnily enough it’s the cars that make buses bad. Buses are slow due to the traffic and car centric road planning.
They’re also so damn infrequent they’re useless (I have a bus stop right outside my house I never take because it goes every 20 minutes at it’s most frequent. 40 minutes to an hour otherwise…)
Isn’t that the train that overshoots the platforms though…
