A Bucks County conservative activist who ran for lieutenant governor is facing assault charges in connection with an underage drinking party at her home in September.
Clarice Shillinger, 36, is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 29 on charges of assault, harassment and furnishing minors with alcohol.
Schillinger, founder of the political action committee Keeping Kids in School, is accused of punching a 16-year-old partygoer several times in the face during a brawl among drunken adults at her Doylestown home, according to PhillyBurbs.com.
The affidavit also said Schillinger poured drinks for the teens and played beer pong with them.
Maybe I’m blind, but did the article state anywhere WHY she was having an underage drinking party at her home?
From the linked original source:
Clarice Schillinger, 36, is facing criminal charges of assault, harassment and furnishing minors with alcohol during her daughter’s birthday party, according to the case filed in late October. Her attorney has denied all charges and said she will fight them in court.
Thanks
