The last time there was talk of a coalition government the Conservatives acted like it was illegal and not a completely normal feature of our democracy.
Which is incredibly ironic given the CPC is a “big tent” party. Essentially a coalition party of several smaller conservative leaning groups.

That seems like a politically unwise thing to say. Better to keep your options open, I’d have thought.
Don’t take it too seriously, the option is very open. The Liberals are making the same tough talk because no one goes into an election talking about how they’re going to lose. If the next election were to result in a similar HoC makeup then another supply and confidence deal will absolutely be on the table.
As is tradition.
