    I’m guessing Hungary has a better future once the older folks there kick the bucket?

      You’d hope so, but Fidesz wins elections by huge vote share margins, the parliament is heavily gerrymandered, they control the media and the judiciary, etc - Orban has made Hungary effectively a one-party state over the last 14 years.

      I think it would take something big to dislodge them.

    Our Homeland leader Laszlo Toroczkai made the remarks at a conference where the party, which has six lawmakers in the 199-strong Hungarian parliament, hosted far-right leaders from Germany’s AfD and the Dutch Forum for Democracy, among others.

    AfD are really going for the grand slam of Nazi conference attendances.
