      Out of curiosity, what do you like about it? It always seemed rather difficult to learn as bare bones to me.

        Yeah, that was probably the worst part about it. Unlike CDDA the controls and UI are pretty obtuse.

        I just liked having a story generated around my custom character with the freedom and flexibility to do anything.

      • You have all the same mechanics as in Fort Mode but you control a single character and have more direct control over what you can do. It makes playing around with the mechanics way easier and straightforward.

        Plus you can make a Sperm Whale man and just use your enemies as weapons.

    I’ve played hundreds of hours in RimWorld but was late on Dwarf Fortress. I dabbled before it came to steam and bought it as soon as it did. I’m waiting for adventure mode to really dip my toes into it to really see the world at large, an experience you couldn’t get in RimWorld and the others.
