    I think the important part here is in the last paragraph

    Prior to his return to play, he will be required to formulate and fulfill a program with the league that directly addresses the circumstances that led him to repeat this destructive behavior.

    Until he completes whatever program that is, it’s pretty much an indefinite suspension. Who knows what that will be though, another couple days at a retreat?

      I would certainly imagine that program will be entirely performative. Ja is either a changed man already after some stern conversations with the league and Nike, or he’s a lost cause. I don’t think that aspect of his suspension will really move the needle on the matter.

    Less than what I expected. Still, this means Ja can’t qualify for the 65-game requirement for awards
