    It’s only a problem because idiots stick around when they’re not wanted or appreciated. If everybody left when they were underpaid they would have to pay what people are worth!. So technically they’re still paying what people are worth and people just think they’re worth more.

      Please do any amount of reading on the topic you’re this wrong about.

      Minimum wage laws exist because it turns out people will take any wage in order to not die, and specifically because of the children’s-first-introduction level supply and demand that is the extent of your understanding, what that causes is a race to the bottom. Competition drives prices down. Including the price of labor. Individual decisions are not sufficient to overcome systemic issues. That’s what makes them… systemic.
