I encourage everyone to scroll down to the press conference video and check that dude’s outfit. Like what???

Edit: in terms of the content of the case, it seems weird. She said she willfully left home, but the family always suspected someone convinced her to leave. The mom had said at the time that she thought it was someone she met online and tbh that seems likely. The cops say she appears unharmed, but she also appears off in those photos. Something seems off, but I can’t put my finger on it, ig she just looks sad

well she is autistic, which i think explains a lot of the ‘offness’ people notice in her way of presenting herself.

I do think it’s (ironic?) she’s wearing a shirt that says “Spooky” though.

That’s interesting and probably does explain how she presents herself tbh. Still, the story is wild and it’s likely that there’s more going on than meets the eye

In a year full of interesting true crime stories, this has to be one of the most interesting and mysterious. The more you learn the weirder it is.

Well at least she was found alive, that’s overall a pretty good outcome, regardless of the weirdness of how it all went down

“I, first of all, want to give glory to God for answering my prayers and for this miracle,” she said. “For everyone who has missing loved ones, I want you to use this case as an example that miracles do exist and never lose hope and always fight.”
