“We are serious about welcoming students that have been suspended from U.S. universities for supporting Palestinians,” an official at Sanaa University, which is run by the Houthis, told Reuters. “We are fighting this battle with Palestine in every way we can.”

Sanaa University had issued a statement applauding the “humanitarian” position of the students in the United States and said they could continue their studies in Yemen.

“The board of the university condemns what academics and students of U.S. and European universities are being subjected to, suppression of freedom of expression,” the board of the university said in a statement, which included an email address for any students wanting to take up their offer.

    This line though

Demonstrators have called on President Joe Biden, who has supported Israel’s right to defend itself, to do more to stop the bloodshed in Gaza and demanded schools divest from companies that support Israel’s government.

Reuters really not hiding it anymore

I wonder if there will ever be an article about a group standing up against israel’s Genocide where you won’t bring up LGBT people.

Reminder that gay marriage is illegal in israel. And israel blackmails gay people to force them to become spies.

Gay Palestinians Are Being Blackmailed Into Working As Informants

You sure care about those LGBT people in every article against israel, but not in other articles about israel.

I don’t remember engaging with you before yesterday, so you probably have me confused with someone else.

I won’t defend Israel’s lack of gay marriage. It took a long time to get it in the U.S., and I hope it comes to Israel. The Abrahamic faiths are a major obstacle to human rights.

There’s still a difference between a government that does not recognize marriages between gays and one that stones them to death.

No no, please dont say anything bad about anyone who opposes Israel. Israel is objectively bad, therefore any opposition must be good. Please do not apply nuance. Thats fascist propaganda and bothsidedism.

I mean, if you think the people in power are going to end their suspension at some point, I have oceanfront property in Kansas to sell you. They questioned the status quo, they need to be used as an example.

I mean this is just Vietnam lite. We can see what happened then, but yes I do think they’ll be unsuspended. That’s why it’s a suspension.
