      My spouse and I have had six. One died because he got outside–we live in a very rural area–and we were not able to recover him. Two have died from congestive heart failure after having been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy prior to turning 8. Two of our sphynx have severe hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, but are not yet into congestive heart failure; they are 6 and 7. Only one is healthy so far, and he’s 5.
