Paying a fine for bribing someone never made sense…
Like, it’s essentially just a tax on bribes.
I thought we’d started calling it lobbying

eliminating AT&T’s Carrier of Last Resort (COLR) obligation to provide landline phone service, and separate legislation related to small cell deployments.
The thing is, it’s so cheap the people actually affected by the legislation could probably have beat it with a gofundme. If bribery were legal, the rich might actually have a harder time.
The people it affects already paid with their taxes. The government is just greedy
