Minnesotans are now able to legally possess and grow their own marijuana for recreational purposes, after the Minnesota Legislature approved a 300-page bill earlier this year, and Gov. Tim Walz signed it into law shortly thereafter. It became official Tuesday.

I live in MN. I’m stoked. I’ve been eating edibles (full THC edibles have been legal here for awhile now) and will probably continue to do so, but I’m glad smoking is now legal as well.

To my fellow minnesotans, you can buy from a store called NativeCare in the Red Lake reservation north of Bemidji. Their website is here so you can check out what they have, though right now it’s just prerolled joints and flower

My sister is still in WI. She’s happy it’s legal for me, but sad it isn’t for her. I feel for her and you.

Hopefully you guys in Minnesota will help steer us in the right direction, wishful thinking though. Enjoy!
