The game will be delisted from digital stores on 2024-12-15 per https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1293830/view/4185613970227394261
It seems the DLC has already been delisted, so you won’t be able to buy that content now.
It’s unclear to me if the Ultimate Edition still includes some or all of the DLC, or if the current DLC delisting is just purchasing them individually. You can try parsing this FAQ from the devs: https://support.forzamotorsport.net/hc/en-us/articles/30662484986387-Forza-Horizon-4-Delisting-FAQ
Thanks for pointing that out. The Ultimate Edition does not include all the delisted DLCs. I’m using Mitsubishi Motors Car Pack as an example. It was a free DLC pack. It is not mentioned at all in the Ultimate Edition.
I bought the Ultimate Edition and Mitsubishi Car Pack was indeed not included, but somehow added to my account a day later.
Do you know if the 2 Expansion Packs (e.g. the lego one) still get activated if you buy the Ultimate, because they are already delisted to buy separately.
A Steam commenter claims this is the full list of missing content:
Missing DLC: Mitsubishi Car Pack 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX 1997 Mitsubishi GTO 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI GSR 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII MR 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX MR 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X GSR Hot Wheels™ Legends Car Pack 2018 Hot Wheels 2JetZ. 1972 Hot Wheels Chevrolet LUV. 1949 Hot Wheels Ford F-5 Dually Custom Hot Rod. 1969 Hot Wheels International-Harvester Loadstar CO-1600. 1957 Hot Wheels Nash Metropolitan Custom. 1957 Hot Wheels Studebaker Golden Hawk 'Dream Roadster' Misc. Quarz Regalia 1967 Sunbeam Tiger 1979 Talbot Sunbeam Lotus
So presumably the main expansions stay.
Ah perfect, thanks
Didn’t know it was being delisted. Thanks for the heads-up! Got the Ultimate Edition.
Sucks that certain DLC’s have already been delisted. It’s annoying how the “Ultimate” edition of the game doesn’t contain everything in it.
Didn’t they just announce end of service for the title? I could be wrong so best check it out before believing me or purchasing. Still a relatively fun game to play now and again off game pass if you have that.
It’ll still work after end of service. It just won’t connect online afterwards. Which is sad but at least it’ll still be playable unlike another certain open world racing game.
