There will be a group policy setting somewhere to turn it off.
There’s already ways of turning it off in Windows 11. And ways of disabling tracking, ads, etc. Just requires some scripts… Or just use the windows enterprise version.
Stop hoping for Microsoft to not fuck you over. Get control and use linux.
First thing I did when I saw the Copilot button in Win11 was to ask Copilot how to disable it.
Quick gpedit or reg hack does the trick. Should be fine in Win10. Microsoft isn’t evil, they’re just assholes.

I’ve done this upgrade already. Partially because one of my computers that shipped with windows 11 was unuseable because of how slow it was…
