    I understand that the temporary-removal is typical in white, but this creature feels like it would be in black or blue, no?

        I mean, it’s a big carnivorous (spirit) coyote hunting prey. Maybe it’s just my (biased) attitude towards coyotes in general, but white usually isn’t the color of bloodlust. Black for death, blue for wiles, or even red for impulse and speed.

          Lots of aquatic creatures get to be Blue because they are inhabitants of the sea. I think it works a so.similar way for Plains.

          Edif: I do agree that coyotes don’t scream White to me.
