Tesla notoriously doesn’t offer many, if any, interior options other than a black or white interior.
That’s why many were surprised to be presented with a new Model 3 interior if they chose the Model 3 Standard Range Rear-Wheel-Drive in the configurator in Mexico today.
When ordering this trim, which is the cheapest option, they don’t have an interior option between black and white anymore. Instead, they are presented with a new interior with textile seats rather than vegan leather:
Theyll save even more money by not even trying to fit panels correctly.
This will be an absolute pile
They are really feeling the heat. They are going to start doing some wild things I am sure in the near future.
All in the name of avoiding doing the obvious thing.

I always chuckle at westerners automatically conflating “more expensive” with “better.” Leather seats are the worse option 90% of the time but because they cost more, they’re always thrown into the premium trims
Imagine already having a cheap, chintzy interior and thinking to yourself, “I bet we can screw our customers over even worse”. Wow.
