      Not sure who downvotes this, the meat industry is right up there with the oil and gas industry in terms of comic book level villainy. Like I get that people still rely on these products, but the industry is not your friend.

    Eg, “Soyboy”, or fear-mongering that phytoestrogens like in soy may increase risk of estrogen-linked cancers but somehow the estrogen in (pregnant) cow’s milk is not worth mentioning. In reality, there’s evidence implicating cow’s milk in the development of breast cancer* and both processed meat and red meat are recognized as carcinogens by the WHO

    Tbh that doesn’t sound like a lot at their scale. If they’re broke, they should just say so.

      It’s because they are insecure, they can’t handle if people start eating less meat.
