I like how the low quality image makes it seem like your device can’t handle higher resolution

I have an iPhone 12 mini and my only complaint is that the folks who create UI or content have zero interest in making sure it all actually looks right on “such a tiny screen”.

Everyone (over maybe 19) who sees it in person likes how small it is because they can use the whole screen with one hand, or fit it in their tiny femme pockets. Some younger people ask how I could watch a movie on it but I have the feeling they only think that way because they’ve never had their own living space as an adult. I have zero interest in craning my neck down at my phone or holding my phone up to my eyes for 2 hours or more when I have a better more comfortable TV and Computer for that purpose.

One of the apps is Luma for example. It claims it supports 3D scanning on iPhone 11 or newer devices, but doesn’t mention that SE 2 is an exception.

I know that SE2 is a budget device, but I guess I naively thought that it having an iPhone 11 chip and the newest OS could be enough.

I believe that is due to a lack of advanced camera hardware. I believe SE series all have simple cameras compared to the various(infrared, etc.) multi camera setups that are on the higher end models.

It’s kinda annoying how the app store lists all the apps, but then tells you they’re not compatible only when you go to install them. I think I prefer the Play store method instead where they just don’t appear at all.

Interesting. Maybe it thought you owned more than one device and was showing you things that you could install on one of those?

Maybe I’m wrong. Just seems to happen all the time with older iPhones and iPads.

most stuff on playstore works on all devices, so thats probably why you never saw one. i only discovered th`t because i had(and still have) a phone thats way older than most people’s

if you generally buy newer phones its harder to find unavailable apps
