Problem with Android tablets is still the lack apps working properly on large screens. Learned that the hard way.
true, but in my experience iPad OS isn’t that much better either. Apps that just show a 16:9 iPhone screen and don’t scale whatsoever are still plenty.
Hmmm. I’ve been working with a Galaxy Tab S8+ and have had surprisingly few problems. The worst are when apps insist on portrait mode. Samsung, at least, has a config to correct this, and it’s worked on every app I’ve tried. I’m not sure if this is Samsung specific, or other tablets can do it. I know my earlier ones could not.
I also had the S8+ for a couple of week prior to returning it an while, certainly, most of the apps worked they was for the most part enlarged versions of they phone counterpart. Maybe in smaller screens this work but on a 12 inch screen it was a big no for me. Those same apps work flawlessly on the 12 inch iPad. I’m not big fan of Apple but, for now, I’ll what works for my when it comes to tablets.
Love it! I sorely miss the old Nexus gear.
yeah - too bad I already own an iPad Pro (with a ton of accessories) so can’t really justify swapping it out… but this seems like a winner.
I wish Google eventually unlocks the tablet from the bundle. The dumb speaker dock is the least appealing if not outright the most appalling part in the package. It becomes an overpriced paperweight when the tablet is not docked… wtf
Well? Is Google back?
Tldw: no
It’s a mid tablet but it’s well made.
Oh well. Google is dying, I’ll be laughing the whole way
Sorry, but google isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
