In Harry’s year, there were Hannah Abbott (marries Neville), Susan Bones (Amelia’s niece), Justin Finch-Fletchley (petrified in CoS), Ernie Macmillan (pompus), and Zacharias Smith (annoying git). None of them were highlighted as Cedric was, but they each had a small role in the plot.
I believe Tonks and Newt were also Hufflepuffs.
Meanwhile Ravenclaw had Cho Chang and… Uh… Hmm…
Luna?
Also Moaning Myrtle, Marietta Edgecombe (sneak), Terry Boot, Michael Corner (Ginny’s boyfriend), Padma Patil (Ron’s Yule Ball partner), Penelope Clearwater (Percy’s girlfriend), and Roger Davies (Fleur’s Yule Ball partner).
In terms of faculty, Flitwick, Trelawney, Quirrell, and Lockhart were Ravenclaws.
I thought Lockhart was Hufflepuff
I’m not sure his house was ever mentioned in the books, but it was confirmed on Pottermore later:
Sorted into Ravenclaw house, Lockhart was soon achieving good marks in his schoolwork, but there was always a kink in his nature that made him increasingly unsatisfied. If he was not first and best, he would rather not participate at all. Increasingly, he directed his talents towards short cuts and dodges. He valued learning not for its own sake, but for the attention it brought him. He craved prizes and awards. He lobbied the Headmaster to start a school newsletter, because he liked nothing better than to see his name and photograph in print.
He’s an interesting Ravenclaw. Smart, and a good student, but with unhealthy motivation.
Luna didn’t get named until OotP iirc, in which Hufflepuff also gained another named character, Ernie Macmillan
I guess Newton doesn’t exist then.
