    That’s what happens when people value charisma over intelligence. Not that it’s a modern defect, we’re just hardwired to live like we’re still in a tribe but one led by liars.

      I am very confused by your comment, did you watch the video?

      The video is talking about decentralized trust and how technology can enable that to exist.

      Also about how we changed to get to this stage.

      It’s also a product of faith in authority (what’s taught in churches) to determine truth instead of utilizing rational thought and critical thinking to determine truth.

      With busy lives it’s appealing to do the first one since it’s much easier, but it only gives an illusion of certainty.

      The second is hard work, requires practice, and is known to only ever give (an increasing) approximation of truth. Ironically, it’s more accurate though.
