Why is it not possible on Android to synchronize with the cloud instantly when a file changes, like on a computer? Or is this possible and I don’t know about it?
I use FolderSync, it works well but it sync my files at scheduled time. Nextcloud synchronize my files as I change them on the computer.

This reddit post recommends many file manager apps that mount network storage. Would like to know a foss one though
https://github.com/wa2c/cifs-documents-provider is what I’ve used for that in the past.
Edit: To elaborate, that would just mount your network storage, and you’d then need to access the files using the android file explorer or something else. I haven’t found a good FOSS file explorer, so I paid for solid explorer ages ago.
