Pancho Barnes was a wild person that was involved in many of the big events in early aviation.

It makes you realize how small that community was.

In the movie The Right Stuff, when Chuck Yeager breaks his arm just before breaking the speed of sound, that was at Pancho’s bar/brothel.

This book was an interesting read.
