Crazy game!
Honestly closer scoreline than you would have thought considering the Lions gave up 5 turnovers and the Commanders 0. So many crazy mistakes from the offense, horrible game for Goff. He was looking bad before the hit to the head on the interception but that certainly didn’t help… Also it must be said, fantastic defense from the Commanders.
Yeah Goff played bad. Just made bad throws. Loss is on him.
He was bad, yes. Also worth mentioning however, their banged up defense looked bad too. They gave up massive chunk plays, yardage from scrimmage, yards after catch, allowed deep completions, etc.
Lions D was bad, allowing Washington to convert 4th down again and again. The 12 men on field penalty…
All the Lions had to do was keeping feeding Jah Gibbs. So frustrating. 3rd and 1 you go empty set instead of giving it to your stud RB1. Instead of 14-3 its 10-7.

Yup, Lions were not prepared and I definitely was hoping that Goff would show up, not Goof. But the Commanders did well with their pass rush and the Lions defense performed as I expected
Daniels to the top! Love rooting for the underdog, and it would be amazing for them to take it all the way in his rookie season.
