This is a really great book, however it has two distinct stories in it. While you have the room to explore those in a book, I hope they both don’t get lost in movie form.
The documentary side is going to be completely ignored and you hate to see it. There will be talking in the background about a skyscraper or a ferris wheel, but the drama of the murders and intricate planning therein will surely be the bulk of the movie.
Hope this happens! Pretty sure I heard about this exact collab like 15 years ago.
I’m pretty much over Scorsese as a movie maker of movies I enjoy, his last few movies have been crap, the uber Catholic shit wears thin, he’ll keep making them, people will keep subscribing to streaming companies to watch them, but he’s a meh in my book at this point
