Been running for months now in a heated chamber! These cameras should be easy to adapt to most printers. It was only supposed to be a temporary addition to fit for troubleshooting, but it’s holding up to almost constant use really well!
That’s igneous and much less bulky than some of my attempts at a camera for octoprint, can we see some photos from the video feed?
How does it look from the cameras perspective??!
Any example images? Curious to know what this produces.
I had one of these on my MK3 previously and the footage they record is incredibly mesmerizing to watch.
Never bothered adding one on my Voron, mostly because it’s always a pain to route the cable properly but I might just give it another try at some point
There’s a really nice nozzle cam available for Voron now. You have to print the front cover part again, but it has a housing for a 4K nozzle cam. Much more pricy, but incredible quality, invisible and a bit easier to connect.
Was it just plug-n-play on Linux, or did you need some drivers for it?
And as others have requested, some stills from the camera would be nice so we can see the image quality of it.
What do you use it with? A pi?
Yeah, it runs Klipper so the Pi is doing most of the crunching and also acts as a webserver. A long USB cable to your computer or phone also gets the job done. It’s mostly to help with tuning and diagnosis, because you can actually see what’s happening rather than just seeing the effects of what happened, and is meant to be removed after use, but I’ve still been daily driving it!
