Can I get one for my Model 3 please, but in more regular lettering? All the stickers I’ve seen for sale are too fucking polite.

I kind of wish this community was called cyberschmuck, but I guess that’d be a better name for one based on memes about musk himself

If y’all can just wait 2 months to vandalize my Tesla (not a cybertruck) I can turn it back in and walk away without having to pay any fees. Fuck Elon.

Anyone who does this is an asshole.

Edit: y’all are literally fucking idiots. Vandalizing someone’s property isn’t justified. get your heads out of your asses.

      No go fuck yourself.

People and the horrible shit elon is doing to them is FAR more important than vandalizing fucking property.

This kind of public shame is extremely useful because it ensures people can’t ignore what’s going on, because they fucking will given literally any leeway.

Destroying property is and has always been one of the most effective methods of civil disobedience.

Turns out someone can be an idiot for owning a truck. And someone can also be an idiot for vandalizing it. These aren’t mutually exclusive concepts.

I’m a staunch elon hater Tesla hater and especially cyber truck hater. But to stoop so low as to vandalize someone’s vehicle and celebrate that? Disappointing for real. I expected better from Lemmy.

I wouldn’t do it myself, but this just kinda feels like another aspect of the “free market” conservatives were so hot to peddle. Turns out there’s more to life than just buying shit whenever people’s rights start going down the drain. They’re going to take it out however hey can, and I’m guessing they’ll just keep resorting to more extreme measures. At least they aren’t getting people killed like the pharmaceutical execs. Spray paint is a blessing by comparison.

Yeah, sit down and accept the fascist takeover and don’t bother vandalizing their symbols because that’s against their law.

Wouldn’t want to do anything crazy like protest in a non violent way, and heaven forbid anything more extreme happen! This is basically domestic terrorism.

In your mind everyone who owns a Tesla is a Nazi? Or a conservative? So therefore you have the right to damage their property? And also this will prevent the country from falling into fascism?

Idiotic logic. Like so beyond idiotic I’m almost speechless.

Imagery is just as important if not more important than law in times like this. This kind of vandalism sends an important message, that people don’t put up with supporting fascists. Make it shameful to give them your money, make rich people afraid to buy their products, that’s the purpose this serves.

As far as preventative measures go, that requires the country to have not already fallen to fascism. Too late there.

I’m noticing a LOT of people nowadays would have absolutely been nazis in nazi Germany, just because “it’s perfectly legal and any disobedience is illegal, or isn’t hurting Hitler himself and therefore is pointless”

These comments are so incredibly out of touch. We can hate Elon and not vandalize people’s property. Take it to his billboards or advertisements. And before people say “ThE CaR iS thE aD” would you still be enthusiastic of Trump supporters vandalizing your car if your car had Biden/Harris stickers?

The point is public shame for supporting a clear fascist. Vandalism is and has always been an effective method of civil disobedience because the rich care more about property than people.

Literally any visible resistance to fascism is good resistance. We are far beyond respect and niceties and following the rules of fascists.

I think that’s being a bit too tribal, it’s not like they’re calling Musk a billionaire philanthropist.

        They’ll get there. Probably…

        Hopefully before it’s too late.
