Looks like FF is on track for enshittification, I (unfortunately and with great sadness) called it last year (and was downvoted for it lol)
moved to Firefox due to chrome enshittification, and now this, it’s like a nightmare where you can run but not hide
I’ve been using libre Wolf for a few months with no complaints. Doesn’t help on mobile however.
Fennec is a good mobile alternative.
