    The downvotes are b/c of the political content, I think? But the c/ rules don’t say “no political content,” so is it just that the community doesn’t want to see comics about politics?

    I’m not the poster. But it is a comic strip, although only barely - there isn’t even an attempt at a punchline. So, maybe it isn’t, technically, a comic.

    I don’t know. Maybe I’m overanalyzing the votes. I will refrain from my usual rant about how Lemmy’s voting system is broken in the most horrible way possible.

        Fair enough. I’m this case, you use the downvote how it should be used: to mark something as “not interesting”, as opposed to “I disagree with the content.”

        I need to come up with something catchy that I can attach to all my posts, like “Carthago delenda est.”
