Tobizaru’s trip was great-- nice read on that situation. Did Takayasu look more tired than usual by that point? He’s getting up there and probably can’t endure the longer matches like he did a couple years ago.
Also was a little worried about how Takerufuji fell, but it looks like he’s ok.

That might be why Tobizaru didn’t pause halfway through… he might have figured he had more to gain if they were both exhausted. Takayasu’s a lot bigger, 40 kg or 88 lbs, easy to get tired faster. Tactics definitely played a part.
