It’s astounding how quickly fascist cunts show their true colors in simping for imperialist invasions, once the ‘right people’ are being invaded.

May Europe back Ukrainian sovereignty to the hilt. God knows the fascist government in the US can no longer be relied upon for even token support.

Voter suppression is also a real thing. I’m sure enough people who wanted to vote weren’t able to, or who did vote but their ballot was rejected for this or that reason. For sure we should ask why every single eligible voter didn’t turn out, but there are also institutional reasons why some voters didn’t vote.

Voter suppression is absolutely a real thing, but we’re talking about 100M+ people.

A tiny fraction of which could have swung this away from chaos and evil and they deliberately chose not to.

It looks like it’s halfway between a radial arm saw, and a table saw, but would not function as either.

On the plus side, it combines the worst of both of the most dangerous saws ever made. So maybe it was intentional???

Imagine thinking that Trump would ever do any kind of physical labor, especially something skilled like woodworking.

Maybe it’s to signal they’re in distress, best I can guess cuz that’s a pretty glaring oversight otherwise

The only wrong part about this is Ukraine and the EU looking on powerlessly.

We got more than enough power to prevent this. And our politicians are waking up.

I think a negative peace was the goal and it’s going to be the result.

A lot of people will have died and suffered for it too.

      negative peace

this is what politically moderate people of this world like the Democrats keep creating for us despite warnings from influential leaders and great thinkers like MLK Jr. warning us against it:

… I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen’s Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice …

if the people in eastern ukraine want to have independence from the government in kiew, or be a part of russia even, why not just let them? there’s an UN-enshrined imprtant right to self-determination.

The proper and correct thing to do would have been to ask the people in eastern ukraine what they want in February 2022 via an UN-organized popular vote.

    Instead, there was war.
