Maybe we finally have an argument to win over the tankies simping for Putin: just argue Putin is a CIA plant to destroy glorious Russia from the inside and spread NATO ideology and NATO borders even further.

Say what you want about failing the propaganda war, but I think that’s really only so far as keeping the tankies from taking the narrative. The Russians much more effective in Russia, where they control the whole media, save for young Russians who have access to Telegram and the outside Internet. They’re also amplifying the apathetic voices who aren’t affected by Ukraine and there are starting to be politicians who want to cut support.

Not everyone is as obsessed with this war as you or me, and all it takes is one personal voice to sway a lot of people.

Holy shit why did I not know they exist. Ha! They had a summit with this Russian guy, they had Ukrainian officials change their profile pictures to memes. Saint Javelin? It’s so great to see how democracy strikes back once again against totalitarian regimes. For a long time I thought that information war was our weak spot, but it seems that in democracy it just takes a bit longer to build such a Defense. And now there’s this: decentralised, unorganised, hiveminded, thing that’s ironic and actually funny for a good cause.
