Why is there no context about the ideological positions of each of these caucuses? Why was something passed disciplining the BDS WG? This article has a positive tone, but each author is positive about something another derides. Maybe I need to research more, but goddamn does this read of a fragmented organization, even if they’re excited for the future

I have an unfortunate level of knowledge due to local overlaps with PMC DSA Karens.

Reform & Revolution and Bread & Roses are Trot and/or Trot-adjascent, with the positions you would expect from milquetoast DSA ultras. MUG is neo-Trot and hides it well. Bread and Roses had someone speak about the Hong Kong protests and against China because of “aligning with the union leaders there”. SMC and Green New Deal are liberals calling themselves socialist and are responsible for most of the drama and bad takes. They are why Bowman can support Israel and face no repercussions. Red Star is basically just San Francisco and is multi-tendency Marxist. North Star is class reductionists. Everything about DSA factions is dumb and I regret knowing these things.

The BDS group was really just dissolved, procedurally. This was pushed by SMC, Green New Deal libs, and enough Bread and Roses to pass (barely) because they all only support Palestine in words only and balk when it comes to actually doing BDS things.
