      No, technically all IOS browsers are WebKit based. So more safari with a Vivaldi skin

    Aren’t all browsers on Apple basically forced to use safari as a backend? Even Firefox on iOS is just a safari skin.

      It uses the same rendering engine. That’s it. Third-party browsers are still able to add additional features not in Safari.

      I remember hearing the hold Apple has on the engine will eventually stop whether they like it or not. The EU will likely make sure of that. Firefox is working on their own iOS engine for this reason.

      Not sure about the others.
