Planning to do this later today. Hopefully it stays working even though I definitely will be using Reddit a lot less than before. Still awesome to see though!

I cant imagine this will continue to work once Apollo’s backend infrastructure is fully deprecated.

Also don’t understand why people would bend over backwards like this to jailbreak, modify an app, and use a degraded experience for Reddit. They’ve made it abundantly clear they don’t care about users.

I thought about this but I really don’t want to A) jailbreak my phone or B) support Reddit in any form after how they treated the 3rd party devs

I’m guessing you could sideload using something like AltStore without jailbreak

Neat stuff. Looks to be jailbroken phones only at the moment. Let’s hope that changes in the future.

    Thanks for sharing.

Notice: Reddit will break this ASAP and you risk getting your account banned. Also you can’t view NSFW with this. Also…why the fuck would you put in this much effort to support a shitty company?

Agreed. As much as I’d like to continue using Apollo, there comes a point in time when you have to acknowledge it’s over.

You don’t need to be jailbroken. You will have to sideload the app via alt store or sideloady. But I’m running Apollo 1.15.11 with a personal API and no unknown issues at all. Obviously notifications do not work but everything else seems to.
