      I can understand that, things you experience for the first time, specially when you are young, have a special kind of effect on you, which isn’t easy to repeat.

      As for whether the sequels really aren’t as great as the first one, I haven’t played any so can’t say anything on that.

        I never got into the series either. I don’t know what it is, but it just doesn’t speak to me. Maybe someone can explain to me what they love about it to help me understand.

          Well, everyone has different tastes, if you don’t like it, you don’t like it. No need to worry about it.

            True. I just get the feeling that it scrstches an itch that other games don’t for some people. It is quite unique in that regard. I don’t think I know another game that’s like it.

              Yeah, but now people are creating similar games. Indie scene is great for playing unique games.

              Tinykin is a recent example. There is also games that take the base Pikmin mechanic and build on it, Masters of Anima is one such like that.
