    Nobody cares about how customers abuse their boards. PCB industry has its own standards, called IPCxxxx. As long as the boards fit those standards, I can’t see any blames to be put on WD’s head. It is the users who subject excessive stresses on those boards.

    Components literally popping off of the M2 PCB is absurd. A lot of the M2 sticks do flex a little-to-alot when installed under a heatsink but WD should’ve tested for this.

        You write this and it doesn’t cross your mind that this is the reason why it’s worse for non professionals as there is a smaller chance of a backup being available …

        Debits and credits reside in the mind not in files.

        And if you really think your financials are that big of a deal, there’s always data recovery services.

        Also, why don’t you have redundancy for you allegedly precious files? Jesus christ, who taught you to business?
