    tl;dr: public meeting held. 65 spoke on behalf of affected students, after which school board met privately with district’s attorney. board then voted unanimously to overrule principal or superintendent-whoever made the unilateral ‘policy’ decision, reinstate cast (many roles were affected, not just the one) and original script. another meeting to follow,

    I wonder if they could be sued under Americans with disabilities act. Requiring someone to suffer dysphoria to partake in the production would be discriminatory. Being trans is not likely protected, but suffering dysphoria might be.
