Interesting
That’s a significant frequency drop at 300 to 400mhz lower. Wonder if will actually be where they fall, or if they auto body higher than stated. The 5500x3D would make for some interesting budget builds.
Time to upgrade. This 5600x just isn’t cutting it anymore.
bruh i JUST bought a 5600g
If you chose an iGPU chip I doubt either of these is going to fit your needs.
wtf
I don’t like those lower clocks, we’ll have to see benchmarks to see if they’re going to be worth it over a standard 5700X.
This would be epic. AM4 Uber alles.
4.1Ghz is kind of low. But it’s absolutely faster as a 2700x or so.
This may be the 65w chip I’ve been waiting for! 5700x3d. Right? Right?
I went with a 5700x because I didn’t want the cooling troubles a 5800x3d would bring into my crammed system. And money of course.
5700x3d sounds pretty nice
Like it?
Given that the 5500 is a laptop chip, can we expect a mobile 5000U series X3D?
The 5500 is a desktop CPU the 5500U is a laptop CPU
Yeah but the 5500 uses the same die as the 5600U
Ouch 400 MHz lower boost though really kills it.
I’m on a 2700 that’s struggling with modern games. That 5700X3D looks too good to pass up.
OMG! Didn’t expect this to happen.
This makes zero sense
AM4 the gift that keeps on giving.
