Let’s face it, apart from guys like Ancelotti or Mourinho, guys with plenty of accolades who can face this as a once-up-on-a-time challenge, it will be difficult for Brazil to attract an up-and-coming talented coach. There is no way guys coaching in Europe, experiencing an ascending phase, being able to jeopardize their career while coaching a squad that simply lacks the talent from past years, and has enormous pressure to win it all. Tough job for CBF federation.

Yes and yes. Carlo has shown he is effective no matter what players you sign for him. He is not a stickler for a system and he is not stubborn about signings. That makes it great for Real and Flo. Also he has become better at using la Fábrica.

He is insanely good at adapting the squad to what is available.

We have the most goals in league without a number 9. And least goals conceded without our two best defensive players in Tibo and Militao.

He seems tailor-made to be at RM; never complains about signings, makes do with what he is given, and is a great man-manager.

His biggest issue last time was that he didn’t make use of La Fabrica enough. This time he doesn’t have nearly the amount of prime star-power at his disposal so he’s rotating a lot more.

I don’t know about two years. 1 year sure but ancelotti hasn’t been very convincing if you ask me. Last season real should have won the league easy with how shit Barca is and they somehow let it slip. If he gets a double this season and starts performing against Barca then I can see it but otherwise I think they should prepare for Xabi Alsonso

Ridiculous thing to say. Based on what should Madrid have won it easily? You are talking like it’s just them competing in the league and no one else.

Did you miss Barca’s crazy defence/keeper last season? They had conceded only 11 goals leading upto the league winning match. 5 out of those 11 goals were conceded in 2 matches, which means they had conceded only 6 goals in 31 matches…

Well hopefully Alonso stays at Bayer Leverkusen until Ancelotti leaves us.

An extension would take Ancelotti to 2026… the same year that Klopp’s contract ends.

Could be a battle royal to get Xabi Alonso if he hasn’t already taken another job by then.

Brazil failing to qualify for World Cup would be the funniest timeline (I know they will qualify anyway let me dream)
