They have particularly nimble pelvic muscles.
Then please enlighten us.
In case you haven’t noticed, Lemmy is full of non-Americans who are ignorant of American culture and politics, yet still feel the need to share their ignorant takes for some reason.
Yeah, they have no savings because they plow all profits into stock buy backs. Hell, a lot of them have borrowed money to do buy backs.
Just looking at them, they appear fairly similar to nebulas within our own galaxy. It took sophisticated spectroscopic measurements to realize they’re actually much further away.
2/3rds actually. The people who didn’t vote also don’t care about keeping it.
Depends on the species of mold, but enough of them are toxic that the general advice is to avoid all moldy bread.
I had a neighbor like that who removed his right after Jan 6. It went right back up in 2024.
That 1% number is a bit misleading. Federal funding isn’t paid to NPR directly and instead goes to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The CPB gives money to non-profit radio/tv stations and those stations pay NPR, PRI, APM, etc for content. Without the CPB, tons of radio stations, mostly rural, couldn’t afford to exist and wouldn’t be paying NPR anything.
The message is 100% clear to Americans already.
It’s a bit surprising he didn’t have them censor all references to him before releasing the files. I’m surprised any time this administration doesn’t do the most corrupt and evil thing possible.
I’m old enough to say it was exactly like this back in 2005. That was a couple years after the Bush administration told blatant lies to start the Iraq War, ignoring the largest protests in the world up to the time. There was open corruption as they gave out massive no-bid contracts to Republican cronies like KBR. There was rank incompetence like the FEMA response to hurricane Katrina, led by a guy whose sole qualifications were running a horse breeding association (and raising a bunch of money for Republicans).
There actually are rules. They’re just complicated because English prefers to preserve the pronunciation of loan words without changing their spelling and English has a ton of loan words. If you ignore them, native English words are fairly consistent.
I’ll admit I thought it looked cool the first time I saw it presented on stage. However, it looks like absolute shit in the real world where there’s dirt and no control of the lighting and viewing angle
Why do you think the ad network wouldn’t handle it similar to how payment platforms already handle sales/VAT?
It’s actually pretty easy to know which country an IP belongs to. ARIN, RIPE, etc all keep public databases tracking what ASN blocks are allocated to each country.
Not proud of it, but I saw a steroid clit instead.
Call me a downer if you want, but I think scientific papers should be above using clickbait titles. Scientific papers should be dry, boring and technical so that there’s no doubt that a paper is popular because of its content and not the personality of its writer.
Politics and money. If a “mistake” financially benefits a company, there’s a 99% chance it was actually malice/greed.
