For the low-hanging fruit answer: Invest it. Too many things to do for 300 billion to be enough.
By ignoring Israel these rebels are failing to assert the real problem in the region.
And how are they supposed to do anything about Israel while being nerve gassed by Assad at home?
I see your point but honestly in their place being concerned with yourself first and foremost with yourself is perfectly acceptable. If Syria is the hill Iran and Russia want to die on then that’s frankly not Syrian rebels’ business. Put another way, imagine if someone said Hamas should stop operations because they’re indirectly helping Iran who supports Assad. Ignore for this hypothetical that Israel supports ISIS out of all groups.
If you’re reducing Syrian resistance activities to “because Israel” then you should learn… well, anything about the Syrian civil war.
You don’t get to less without decreasing, lol.
Yes, which is exactly the problem.
Less economic growth and a temporary issue with too many old people. That’s not a bad trade off for a better future for all.
Okay good luck convincing anyone else of that with how things are looking in South Korea.
I mean I have to object to your use of the term “defenders” to describe Israel but yeah that’s about it.
Not an answer but it feels strange seeing all of this happening through comments and asklemmy posts.
Where does windy come into play here? Multiplier on cold?
I mean that’s true but then what kind of response were you expecting? Any way of channeling that discomfort you mentioned into productive action will end up as control.
If anything it seems your experiences are narrow if you think friendship across large age gaps is impossible or a cause for worry.
So I have two things to say about this. First, you should know that this is very much a thing. I’m in kind of an opposite situation as a younger expat in a country where people from my country tend to be older, and people can and will get along regardless of age when they’re put in the same place; it just doesn’t happen often because the way modern society works ends up with people being basically sorted by age.
Second, as someone who grew up with overprotective parents trying to control how your son acts will never end well. Seriously it can be infuriating to be on the receiving end of that, so if you care about your relationship with your son know that there are very few situations where it’s okay to control who your adult son associates with, and just being “uncomfortable” is not one of them.
Edit: Messed up a word.
I mean that’s kind of expected when you can’t afford bread.
I mean I fucking hate Biden’s guts but it literally makes no sense to leave his son at the victim mercy of Trump. Whatever Hunter was getting was never going to be justice either way.
Edit: I Engrished.
I guess France has slightly more spine than the US. Let’s see how far it will go.
Less people is good for people, but decreasing people isn’t. Japan and Korea are currently suffering from this and it’s affecting a lot more than line go up economics.
Is it me or has Haaretz been going hard lately?
I mean how big is the list of non-US EU allies anyway?
Stupidest thing I’ve seen today.
I mean you’re straight up buying shares in plantations so yes.
