I mean, maybe it’s not out of the question that the dog could still be around. Most dogs get neutered young too. 16-18 years old is definitely an old dog but not unheard of for a small breed. Jack Russells are no slouch for longevity.

But yeah almost certainly they are gone

This however is completely ignoring the fact that the dog was photoshopped in and could be from really any time

Your keys won’t scratch it, your screen is too hard. I can take a knife to my screen (and I’ve tested this) and it won’t scratch it.

What gets most phones scratched is sand or materials with sand in it like some concrete. It has particles of minerals hard enough to scratch your screen.

  • Yes. But only one or two things at a time. It’s illegal but like you said if you just say you had it when you entered Canada you’ll probably get away with it.

If you come over with 100 laptops in your trunk you will almost certainly be forced to pay import duties on them.

Basically if you’re trying to save some money personally yes it’s possible. Under a certain dollar amount you can usually even do it legally as long as you don’t intend to sell it. But if you’re planning on making a business out of doing this and selling it in the US cheap then you’re gonna get caught

  • A lot of biological and other scientific terms are actually Latin or some mix of it. Bili means “Bile”. Sources say “verd” in this case comes from French verd an old way to say green (Modern: vert/verte), but in any case the French words still derive from Latin viridis.

Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Catalan, and a few other minor languages are all descendants of Latin collectively called the Romance Languages. Speakers of one can often understand a lot of any other of the languages or Latin. Not completely mind you, but enough to get some meaning. Spanish speakers can understand a lot of written Portuguese (but not so much spoken due to pronunciation differences), Italian and Spanish speakers can almost have a conversation spoken or written. Portuguese/Italian/Spanish speakers will have a harder time with French though, they will recognize many written words but not enough to really call it totally understandable, and almost nothing spoken. Etc, etc.
