It really is one by one the large social media companies make bad decisions and there’s a huge migration to a nicer fediverse alternative. I guess the positive side to YouTube doing this is that Peertube will have more people + content

I like Kbin’s UI and feel more than Lemmy’s though I haven’t used either for very long
There’s goldfish.social but it’s still heavily in development and I’m not even sure if it’s federated yet 😅 it’s just the closest I know of (haven’t used it so don’t know how operational it is)
This is so exciting! I love having a variety of apps to choose from and it’s cool to the enthusiasm going into it
I tried out Lemmy for a couple days after the Reddit drama started, just decided to try out kbin instead and think it’s pretty great. I’m very happy to stop using Reddit :)
