Pause games is a essential plugin that solved the sound issues I had with suspending games.

How is that even measured when you see big budget games with DRM flop and games without DRM get crazy sales. Do consumers who pirate but are willing to pay full price for a game even that significant?
I’m saying they are using it like a rss in the fact that they are mainly there just to follow and be fed content. It’s where they go if they want direct content submissions from blank famous person.
You seem more fixated on arguing semantics.
Regular people likely care more about being able to follow who they follow than ads, which they are more likely to put up with even for basic browsing. Last bit was just how I use it.
Not with squawker for Twitter. Displays only people you follow and in chronological order. There’s no recommendations or ads.
For iPadOS had heard of people getting it bent because of the case they used requiring force when they took it in and out. Screen is also big and its thin so that can make it easier to bend if you are putting it in a bag.
I put my iPad in a hard shell laptop case if I’m putting it in a bag. And for general case to protect from scratches I used one with soft silicon edges so it was easy to take in and out a opposed to the ones that snap to the iPad.
I think because when it comes to Instagram or Twitter type social media more people probably use it only to follow accounts and have no interest in being involved in it. So closer to treating it like a rss reader than something like lemmy or reddit. And conversation feed sucks in general.
I use squawker for Twitter. Can’t comment, like, sub, or whatever and account follows are just local feeds like Stealth for Reddit or NewPipe or Freetube. And that’s all I need from it.
Wonder if they’ll attempt a Sonic movie type visual make over.
Dark Matter. Ended on a cliff hanger. Same with Happy. I stopped watching SyFy stuff.
Patriot is another one from Amazon that had the humor of Fargo.

Yeah, the first map area is small and kind of lifeless and I think like 3 hours long? Some don’t give a game longer than that, but the entire game took like 300 hours for me to finish so it was very small portion of a very long dense game.
Longer hiatuses haven’t lived up to the quality of the previous season that first drew audiences in the first place. People also forget and hype dies down. Just seems like it’s all about movie level production but subpar writing.
Same. Oversaturation of mid Marvel TV shows to stay in to loop just led me to completely dropping the Marvel movies too years back. Same for Star Wars.
One of the cons of making a big linked universe when it starts becoming quantity over quality with references to each one.
I guess because I never played TF2 back then my experience of games having predatory gambling mechanics was mobile games with the f2p and low costs pushing towards different ways to monetize. Seemed inevitable once mobile gaming exploded and makes up a larger portion of revenue than PC and console gaming making other companies want to copy it.
First few hours can seem slow with the early map not being the most exciting, but if you make it through the huge world opens up and things start getting much more exciting.
When I played I printed out a side quest list to try to experience as much of the game a possible and checked off ones I completed. Side quests are amazing and better than the main quest as opposed to being the usual fetch quest with a weak or no story.
Companies can charge $60 for games and people will buy it. Doesn’t mean enough people will rush out to buy it to actually be a good price. Too many options now, and not all games have the demand to have people pay whatever.
Yeah Apple was the one that really needs actual side loading with how absolutely locked down it is. Makes me wonder if this is just some equivalent of an empty gesture to avoid having to make Apple actually open up.
Google also can’t:
This is pretty hilarious if you know about Epic’s strategy on PC.
That makes no sense at all why they impose this ruling on Android that had side loading to begin with but don’t force Apple wide open to actually allow side loading. Makes the whole thing seem like an empty gesture of nothing actually being accomplished.
First one was so fun, but what are they going to do for a sequel? I hope it’s not a retread of the same premise, but they just go full Evil Dead crazy.
