A top-of-the table English Women’s Soccer League game with a crowd of nearly 33,000 has suffered a delayed kickoff in London because the teams had matching socks.

    Refs are supposed to focus on the ball, so oftentimes the color of the socks is the easiest way to tell players from two different teams apart. Which foot kicked the ball last, the blue one or the red one?
