If some important people are located outside of threads and lots of people follow them, they need to keep at least some compatibility. Extinguish should work worse than it did for XMPP

Now FediDB is showing Meta as “just another fediverse” instance. Pixelfed is very happy to work shoulder to shoulder with Meta devs.
