That’s what I do with all TV/Movie adaptations. Is so much easier to just sit back and enjoy when you aren’t constantly comparing it to something it’s not.
I am starting to go even further with all movies. Once I stumble across something I think I might want to see, I will actively avoid all trailers and discussions about it.
No expectations. Zero. De nada.
It helps a lot for me. I even kinda enjoyed 65 using this method. And then when I see something like Godzilla Minus One… whoa boy!
