For three years we’ve made something out of wood for our holiday decorations. We’ve made a tree, a star and last year a reindeer. But now I’m running out of ideas.
The new thing needs to be big enough to be visible, and be easy enough to make so my kids kan help (as that is the main idea).
The trouble with going too big is that you may run out of room to store it but what if you make elves or penguins of each of your family members and everyone can decorate their own? That way it is personal and you can add onto it by giving them a village of sorts with buildings and other items as the years go on? As your children grow they can even participate in larger add-ons to the village.
I like it! I’ll think about it, to see if I can make this without too much work.
